San Angelo Comic Con

San Angelo Comic Con is the premier pop-culture and fandom event of the Concho Valley, held annually at the San Angelo Coliseum (formerly the Foster Communications Coliseum).
As the first large-scale convention in the region, it serves as a “safe space for self-proclaimed nerds” to celebrate everything from comic books and anime to professional wrestling and gaming.

This show has been running for the past 9 years and has continued to grow with the community of the Rio Concho Valley

Anime San Angelo

Anime San Angelo is a dedicated Japanese pop-culture convention in San Angelo, Texas, that branched off from the long-standing San Angelo Comic Con to focus specifically on the anime community.  It is designed to be an inclusive, family-friendly “hangout” that celebrates anime, gaming, and geek culture taking its place alongside the city’s main Comic Con.

We are committed to enlarging this convention and having it grow into the second anchor show in the San Angelo Market.

Arkansas Comic Expo

Jonesboro Arkansas’ Newest Comic Expo. Arkansas Comic Expo is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and high-energy environment for fans of all ages. Our mission is to celebrate the arts, foster the local geek community, and put Jonesboro on the map as a destination for pop-culture enthusiasts.

We are currently looking for local partners to help us make this a future star in our line up of shows

River Valley Comic Con

River Valley Comic Con (RVCC) is a premier pop-culture and fandom event based in Fort Smith, Arkansas, primarily hosted at the Kay Rodgers Park Expo Center. The convention is a family-oriented celebration of comics, anime, gaming, and regional artists!

Prepare for an unforgettable weekend where all fandoms unite under one roof!

Anime Kansas

Anime Kansas is a premier annual convention held at the Century II Center in Wichita, Kansas.  The event serves as a major regional hub for enthusiasts of Japanese animation, manga, and competitive gaming, drawing fans from across the Midwest. Future events providing an immersive weekend for the local “otaku” community.
The convention is well known for its celebrity guest list, which frequently features prominent voice actors from major anime franchises.

Anime Showdown

This isn’t just an expo—it’s a battle for supremacy where your favorite franchises go toe-to-toe to see who reigns supreme.

Get Ready for A New Kind of Convention Experience – Unlike any other show, Anime Showdown is built around the “The Battle of the Fandoms.” Upon entry, attendees choose their side in a weekend-long competition pitting iconic series and genres against one another. Every activity, from gaming to cosplay, earns points for your “corner” of the ring.

Galactic Events is a specialized event production company based in Texas, primarily known as the organizing force behind major pop-culture conventions in West Texas and beyond.  

The company focuses on creating high-energy, community-driven events that celebrate comic books, anime, gaming, and professional wrestling.

The company is most recognized for its signature events in west Texas, which include:
  • San Angelo Comic Con: The region’s flagship multi-genre convention, held annually at the San Angelo Coliseum.
  • Anime San Angelo: A dedicated spin-off event that focuses exclusively on Japanese animation, manga, and the “otaku” lifestyle, typically held at the McNease Convention Center.
  • Anime Mundo: A premier annual anime and Japanese pop-culture convention based in El Paso, Texas.  Developed in partnership with 3XC Events, it quickly became one of the largest fan gatherings in the “Borderland” region, typically held at the El Paso Convention Center.
Galactic Events operates with a “for fans, by fans” philosophy, aiming to provide a safe and inclusive space for the “nerd” community. Their shows are characterized by:
  • Accessibility: They strive to make conventions affordable for families, often offering free admission for children and discounted youth pricing.
